Rebel Wilson as superhero? Actress challenges Chris and Liam Hemsworth in workout video, fans are thrilled

Published

Rebel Wilson’s gradual but dramatic weight loss has shocked and inspired many in equal parts. The ‘Pitch Perfect’ alum, who recently made waves with the not so well received ‘Cats’ movie, has been on the radar for her stunning weight loss, even though she was pretty epic and just as iconic an entertainer before that. But while Wilson’s ‘dirty’ secret to weight loss is making the rounds as news headlines, she left her fans speechless, tagging the Hemsworth brothers in a workout video where she asked them to watch out for “Australia’s latest action hero”. And that’s something that has fans convinced she needs to be the ‘cast as a superhero ASAP’.

“Starting the week off right! Look out @chrishemsworth & @liamhemsworth Australia’s latest action hero is turning it up!” Wilson shared on Instagram as the caption of her video of moving tyres as part of her workout regime. The Hemsworth brothers, especially Chris, is known for his work in the Avengers franchise as Thor, the God of Thunder. More recently, he wowed his fans for obvious reasons by playing a mercenary in the Netflix movie ‘Extraction’. So it makes sense why Wilson would choose the Hemsworths as her current rivals on her journey to becoming Australia’s new action hero.

The fun quip didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who touted her brilliant hard work. At the same time, a fan commented right underneath her video “My fitspiration!!! Someone go cast her as a super hero ASAP.”

The heart-eye emoji was a common response from fans who pointed out: “This is great — seeing a public figure show the hard yards. No miracle drink, no mystical pills — just good, old-fashioned hard work and moving tyres like that, you’ll have the boys on Farmer Wants a Wife swapping out their winners for you.”

Others commented with her work-out joke from the first ‘Pitch Perfect’ movie where Wilson’s character Fat Amy laid down on the bleachers and just cycled her legs. Noting the same, a fan wrote under her post: “How’s this for horizontal running?!?!” Several fans congratulated Wilson on her riveting feat, writing: “Go for it girl friend, looking strong and fabulous!” Another very honest fan also admitted: “My cousins do this. I thought that were nuts. But, they’re fit and healthier than me. You do you!!”

Why an ‘active’ approach to risk modelling is key to navigating markets today

Published

Whether investors are aiming for a cautious approach or a riskier investment profile with the potential for higher returns, Architas’ Blended Fund range is designed to match a range of investor risk appetites. And like many asset managers, Architas predominantly uses two approaches to define asset allocation within the five risk bands used in the Blended Range – strategic and tactical.

Whilst risk model provider EValue’s quantitative approach to asset allocation takes into account the long-term performance of different asset classes and the likely future performance given current valuations, along with long-term measures of volatility and correlations with other asset classes. Yet as with most systems of its kinds, EValue focuses on the long term; it is unable to analyse short-term market movements and fluctuations. So whilst it would have seen that in Q1 2020 markets fell by a record percentage before rebounding, it will not be able to factor in the cost of the coronavirus and lockdown and its impact on markets. Similarly, it is not able to consider ongoing Brexit woes, geo-political trade wars or the outcome of the US election in 2020.
