90 Day Fiance’s Larissa Dos Santos Lima Would ‘Be Open’ to a Spinoff With Colt Johnson’s Ex Jess Caroline

Published

on

90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima reveals she would “be open” to doing a spinoff with season 5 newcomer Jess Caroline in a new interview on Tuesday, September 15. The TV personality says they have a lot in common: not only are they both Brazilian, but they also dated and split from Colt Johnson.

“I believe we have very similar personalities,” the TLC star, 34, tells Life & Style. “She threw a shoe at Colt and she’s kind of a little bit crazy, but I believe we have this Brazilian thing to support each other. America is a very feminist country so when I stick with her, I show girls we don’t need to be enemies.”

Larissa confirms they are still friends after she warned Jess, 26, to keep her guard up with the Las Vegas, Nevada, resident. “She’s a very nice girl who I’m really rooting for her life in America,” the mom of two says about her franchise costar.

On the September 6 episode of Happily Ever After?, Jess met up with Larissa to reveal she broke up with Colt after he admitted to sending explicit photos of himself to other women while they were on a break. “You know, Jess, you are beautiful,” Larissa told her. “You are sweet. You have big boobies. Colt is nothing.”

Similar to Jess, Larissa was wrapped up in drama when she was romantically involved with Colt, 35, but she says the animosity she felt for him is in the past. The reality couple finalized their divorce in April 2019 and Larissa even gave him kudos for telling Jess the truth in recent episodes.

“I applaud what he did [with Jess] because it takes a lot to go on national television and say ‘yes, I was sending photos to other girls, I was a bad boyfriend.’ I felt he was being honest for the first time,” Larissa explains.

Colt spoke out about his split from Jess in July, hinting he was at peace with it. “Let me tell you, a lot has happened, a lot is going on in my life,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “And that’s what’s great about this season is that there’s a lot of that, actually. It goes in really interesting directions and you’re gonna find out that the person I started with is not the person that I may end up with or who I become.”

These days, Larissa is feeling like a new woman and looking like one, too! The brunette beauty finally revealed her plastic surgery transformation, courtesy of Dr. Lane Smith at Smith Plastic Surgery. “It was a little bit right now, let’s do it right now,” Larissa says, “but I need to hurry because of my job on social media but now, I’m feeling great because I’m almost fully recovered.”

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? on TLC airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

After initially looking like he had met his Death Date, Zeke Landon (Matt Long) was resurrected at the end of season two, which means anything is possible in the world of Manifest.

As for the Major (Elizabeth Marvel), she was killed by Saanvi Bahl (Parveen Kaur), so that’s the end of that.

Other major players include:

  • Melissa Roxburgh as Michaela Stone
  • Josh Dallas as Ben Stone
  • Athena Karkanis as Grace Stone
  • JR Ramirez as Jared Vasquez
  • Luna Blaise as Olive Stone
  • Jack Messina as Cal Stone

The Americans star Holly Taylor has been cast as Angelina, a passenger on Flight 828 who hasn’t yet popped up on Ben’s radar.

She will play an “integral part in the lives of the Stone family this season”, according to Deadline.

In a video that creator Jeff Rake posted on Twitter to celebrate 828 Day, he also revealed that a long-lost character will “make a shocking reappearance”, and someone from Grace’s side of the family is going to rock up and cause issues.

Manifest NBC season 3 plot: What will happen?

In the video that Rake shared, he revealed a number of other key season three plot points.

There will be a time jump of roughly three months following the finale, with Ben and Saanvi focused on finding out more about that aeroplane tailfin which was unearthed – one of the biggest season two bombshells was the reveal that part of the plane for Flight 828 had been lying at the bottom of the ocean the entire time.

The title of the season three premiere has been titled…’Tailfin’.

Rake also touched upon Jared’s “complicated” new romantic relationship, Michaela and Zeke moving in with “an unexpected third party”, and the morally murky nature of some of the passengers from the plane.

“We have her going forward with the real-world turmoil of having committed a terrible, terrible crime and that raises all sorts of real-world questions,” he said. “Will Vance help her try to cover this up? Will he be able to help her cover this up even if he wants to?

“Will any of the cops that we know and love be involved in that? Could Saanvi get away with murder? That’s half the equation that’s going to play out throughout season 3 in a very suspenseful, compelling way.”

BGT’s Amanda Holden responds to Ofcom complaints over her dress

Published

Britain’s Got Talent has found itself the subject of viewer complaints to Ofcom once again – this time over Amanda Holden and her apparently low-cut dress. Déjà vu, anyone?

This isn’t the first time Amanda has had her wardrobe scrutinised by BGT audiences (nor will it be the last, we suspect), and as usual, the talent show judge has responded to the complaints with good humour.

Following reports that broadcasting watchdog Ofcom had received 235 concerned messages about a woman wearing a dress, Amanda addressed the issue on Instagram, while also explaining that no-one would have been able to see her nipples.

Alongside a screenshot of a MailOnline article, Amanda wrote on Instagram Stories: “Mmmm really?! Who has nipples this close to their cleavage?! FYI.”

She added: “A boned corset dented the girls all night.”

Earlier this month, Britain’s Got Talent sparked a large number of complaints following a performance by Diversity invoking police brutality, institutional racism, and the murder of George Floyd in the US.

The moving Black Lives Matter-inspired dance was later cleared by Ofcom, with the regulators finding the routine to be “a call for social unity”.

Following the decision – and ITV’s public backing – stand-in judge Ashley Banjo said: “Creativity is always a leap of faith. All I did was what felt right and I’d do it 100 times over… Sending love to everyone that stood by us.”

The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals will air on Saturday evenings from September 5 on ITV.

Fox moves up premiere for U.S. version of “I Can See Your Voice”

Published

on

By

Fox has fast-tracked the premiere of its latest music-themed entertainment format I Can See Your Voice to its fall programming slate.

Hosted and executive produced by comedic actor Ken Jeong, the “mystery music guessing game” will debut on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the season four premiere of The Masked Singer at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

With the back-to-back premieres, Fox will create a two-hour Wednesday night block of South Korean-originated formats. I Can See Your Voice is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment and is based on a South Korean format from CJ ENM.

“Safely filming I Can See Your Voice this summer was a win in itself, but when we saw the pure magic of the show and felt the palpable suspense in the room before that first note hit, we knew we had to share it with audiences this season,” said Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials at Fox Entertainment, in a statement. “It’s no secret that viewers need a little fun and escape now and, as a companion to an all-new season of The Masked Singer, this will be a fantastic night of family entertainment – and a fantastic night of Ken Jeong.”

Jeong will be joined on set by Emmy-nominated actress Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Daytime Emmy Award winner Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as part of a rotating panel of celebrities – including comedians, pop culture experts, and a musical superstar – to help identify the good and bad singers, without ever hearing them sing a note.

Contestants will attempt to determine the bad “Secret Voices” from the good based on clues, interrogations and lip synch challenges, all for the chance to win a US$100,000 cash prize.

Episodes will culminate with the selected vocalist revealing their real singing talent, or lack thereof, in a duet performance with the musical superstar.

James Mckinlay , Craig Plestis and Ken Jeong serve as executive producers.
