Allow Me To Introduce Everyone’s Next Obsession: Pet Pajamas Exist And Every Pet Needs Some

Published

on

Let’s go ahead and get something out of the way right from the jump: I am very into dressing my animals up.

At any given point, you will find some combination of the following animals in my home: three dogs, one cat, a gecko, and two fish. Sadly, as far as I know, outfits and costumes do not exist for geckos and fish. Happily, as I am very familiar with, costumes and outfits do exist for dogs and cats.

I don’t know exactly what made me consult the great oracle that is Google to query whether or not pet pajamas exist, but if you’ve ever wondered the same thing, let me tell you: they do.

They do, and they are glorious.

I also don’t really know why you would ever put pajamas on your mammalian friends, especially since they have all that fur that is there to keep them happy and cozy, but the human mind is a funny organ and sometimes, you just want what you want.

This one is dedicated to my fellow compatriots in animal dressing: here are all the pet pajamas I’m obsessed with right now.

American Murder: The Family Next Door is coming to Netflix tonight

Watch American Murder: The Family Next Door tonight on Netflix

The new chilling Netflix original documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door is set to release on Netflix tonight at 12:01 a.m. PT. Those of us on the East Coast will have to wait until 3:01 a.m. for the release of this documentary.

For all true crime enthusiasts, this documentary will be well worth the wait. Even those people who may not enjoy true crime, this documentary will catch your attention with its reporting and never before seen archives.

It’s the story we all know. The story that struck America back in 2018. The disappearances of Shanann Watts and her two young daughters, Celeste and Bella.

This is a heartbreaking story that went from a mom and her two daughters missing, to something much bigger.

Watch the trailer below!

Back on Aug. 14, 2018, Shanann and her two daughters were reported missing in their home town of Frederick, Colorado. A few days later, their bodies were discovered in an oil field after Shanann’s husband, Chris Watts, confessed to the murders and told investigators where he disposed of the bodies.

This documentary which is directed by the incredible Jenny Popplewell is different than most documentaries. American Murder uses social media, police video, text messages, home videos, and more to tell its story. This entire documentary is told through the eyes and voice of the people involved in this case.

It’s always good to have the people that were involved help shape the story rather than the ones on the outside and director Jenny Popplewell does a terrific job piecing these archive videos together. Most importantly, Jenny lets the victim, Shanann, tell the story in her own words.

With that being said, American Murder will most likely not have reasoning or made sense of why this terrible tragedy happened but will show and remind you that social media is sometimes a front. That what may look like the perfect life online to others could be far different once that phone or computer is shut off. It, unfortunately, was for Shanann.

It’s always tough hearing stories that end in such tragedy and this documentary is no different but there’s always some light that comes out of even the darkest of situations.

Make sure you tune into American Murder: The Family Next Door as it hits Netflix tonight.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Enjoy a Romantic Dinner for Two in a Parking Lot

Published

After a tumultuous few months in their relationship, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West rekindled the romance with a private dinner for two, which took place in what looks like a parking lot outside an enormous tent.

West shared a photo of his night out with his wife on Twitter, showing a table with two chairs illuminated exclusively by a car’s headlights outside of a huge tent. Through a small circular opening in the tent’s wall, a brilliant blue interior and what appears to be a natural-wood upright piano can be seen, perhaps set up so the rapper could serenade Kardashian after their meal. He captioned the image, “Dinner for 2,” with a dove emoji. The reality star retweeted her husband’s post, adding two dove emojis of her own.

This romantic gesture comes after a very difficult summer for the couple. Over the past few months, West has tweeted out personal information about his wife, the status of their marriage, and most recently was temporarily suspended from the platform after he shared the phone number of Forbes Media’s chief content officer, Randall Lane, and a video of what appears to be him peeing on his own Grammy Award. All of which reportedly left Kardashian feeling “at the end of her rope—again.”

Just over a week ago, a source told People, “It’s the same thing over and over and over again. He’s on very thin ice with her right now, and she’s truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids, but also her own sanity. The whole thing is discouraging and difficult for her.” They added, “For such a powerful woman, she feels very powerless, and she hates it. She loves Kanye very much, and he just doesn’t realize how much pain he’s causing her.” Hopefully, the couple was able to hash out all of these issues during their intimate meal under a Yeezy tent and night sky.

EGOT-Watch Alert: Zendaya May Play Ronnie Spector in an A24 Biopic

Published

By

Zendaya may have set her sights on her next big film role. The Euphoria star, who picked up her first Emmy and became the youngest person to win her category at this month’s ceremony, is reportedly in talks to star in a Ronnie Spector biopic for A24, according to Deadline. Let the EGOT-watch commence.

A24, which also produces Euphoria, reportedly recently closed the deal for Spector’s life rights and her 1990 memoir Be My Baby, cowritten with Vince Waldron. The memoir traces Spector’s life from her childhood in Spanish Harlem to her rise as the lead singer of the hit-making girl group The Ronettes, who topped charts with memorable songs like “Be My Baby” and “Walking in the Rain” in the 1960s.

The memoir also traces Spector’s abusive relationship with Phil Spector, the group’s producer and songwriter. Ronnie and Phil married in 1968, but the relationship quickly soured, she wrote, accusing Phil of abusive behavior. “Psychological torture was his specialty—name-calling, shouting, cursing, those kinds of things,” she writes in the memoir.

Ronnie also claimed Phil would only let her leave the house once a month, and that if she was gone for longer than 20 minutes, he would send a bodyguard to find her. “I cried every night I was married,” she said in a 2014 interview. The pair divorced in 1974, and Ronnie went on to have a successful independent career, collaborating with rock singer Eddie Money on his 1986 hit “Take Me Home Tonight.” (Phil Spector is currently serving a prison sentence of 19 years to life in California after being convicted in 2009 of killing actor Lana Clarkson.)

An actor has not yet been cast to play Phil Spector in the upcoming biopic, but it will be curious who joins Zendaya in what’s sure to be a high-profile project. If we had to do a little nightmare-casting (who’s really champing at the bit to play Phil Spector?), A24 sweetheart Lucas Hedges could be a fit, as would American Horror Story pinch-hitter Evan Peters, adding to his ledger of villainous roles.

The Ronnie Spector vehicle would be the latest boon to Zendaya’s slate of upcoming films, which includes Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi adaptation Dune (costarring Timothée Chalamet) and Malcolm & Marie, a film written and directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. The black-and-white feature, which costars Tenet’s John David Washington, was dreamt up and shot at the start of the pandemic and recently sold for a whopping $30 million to Netflix at the Toronto Film Festival Market.
