Batwoman‘s complete season one could be flying into your home for less, as the DVD set is currently on offer with a 14% saving on Amazon.
The first season of the Arrowverse series is available to buy on DVD for only £17.19 right now, as opposed to its usual price of £19.99.
Season one of Batwoman features Ruby Rose as Bruce Wayne’s cousin Kate Kane, a woman who, armed with a passion for justice and some impressive combat skills, takes on the Batwoman mantle and dedicates herself to defending Gotham.

The upcoming season two sees a different character becoming Batwoman after Rose’s exit from the show in May, with the actress explaining that leading a superhero show is “tough” and that she had been experiencing strain caused by an on-set accident.
“Being the lead in anything is tough,” she said. “But I think, in that particular instance, it was a lot more difficult because I was still recovering from my surgery.”
She added that she had loved her experience on the show but that she decided to walk away because she felt that “the challenge [was] sort of outweighed” by the difficulties involved with making it.
Season two will see Ryan Wilder, played by Javicia Leslie, take over as Batwoman and she’s set to be a rather different hero to Kate.
She is described as “likable, messy, a little goofy and untamed” and “nothing like Kate Kane”.
A former drug-runner, Ryan now lives in her van and is a “highly skilled and wildly undisciplined” fighter, as well as “an out lesbian. Athletic. Raw. Passionate. Fallible. And very much not your stereotypical all-American hero.”
During a recent panel as part of DC FanDome, Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries revealed that Ryan has been “a statistic of injustice since the moment she was born” and confirmed that she will be battling against the system.
“She’s battled through it her whole life and she will continue to battle against it as Batwoman,” she said. “So we’re just really, really, really excited to have Javicia playing that role.”
She also promised that Kate’s disappearance will be addressed in the show, saying that there will be “different conspiracy theories, different points of view” about what has happened to her, and that her being missing will “create a lot of drama, tension, mystery, intrigue”.
Batwoman will return for season 2 on The CW in the US. E4 airs the series in the UK.

Carole Baskin went out like a lion on ‘Dancing with the Stars’: In the ballroom, the mighty ballroom, she danced on ‘Disney Night’ [WATCH]
I’ll say this much for Carole Baskin: she knew her brand on “Dancing with the Stars” and leaned into it with good humor. Known for her devotion to exotic cats on “Tiger King” (and accused of less savory things in the true-crime documentary series), she gave feline-themed performances in all three weeks she spent in the competition. So it was fitting that she ended her run on “Disney Night” dressed in a head-to-toe lion costume for her routine to “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.” Watch it above.
Baskin got off on the wrong foot this season, earning the lowest score in the season premiere episode for her “Eye of the Tiger” paso doble. The next week she improved enough with her Viennese waltz that the judges decided to keep her in the competition after she landed in the bottom two (they booted Charles Oakley instead). But she still didn’t have her technique down on “Disney Night” when she had the misfortune of dancing one of the hardest styles on the show: the samba (just ask Skai Jackson).
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba gave her credit for dancing with a lot of love, and Derek Hough praised her for her animal activism, but they and Bruno Tonioli couldn’t ignore the fact that she seemed to walk through her choreography more than dance through it, and lacked the necessary bounce and rhythm. Inaba gave her a 5, Hough gave her a 4, and Tonioli gave her a 3 for the second time this season. This time when she landed in the bottom two alongside actress Anne Heche, the judges decided unanimously to send Baskin home.
But I think credit is also due to Baskin’s pro partner Pasha Pashkov. He was just as game as Baskin was, and he choreographed routines to her skill level in a way that allowed her to enjoy herself even though she couldn’t keep up with the technique of her fellow competitors. She came into the show like a tiger, and she left like a lioness.

Lil Yachty Arrested For Driving 150+ MPH
Lil Yachty was recently arrested for driving more than 150 MPH on an Atlanta interstate, as local news station WSB-TV reports. The arrest happened last week on 9/21. Yachty was pulled over driving a white Ferrari and taken to jail, where he was charged with reckless driving and speeding in excess of maximum limits.
Shortly after reports emerged about his arrest, the rapper posted an Instagram captioned “I’m not in jail.”
Back in June, Yachty crashed a red Ferrari on the same interstate in Atlanta after losing control while reportedly speeding on a wet road. He was, thankfully, not seriously injured and did not hurt anyone else. He shared pictures of the wreck on Twitter:
