Fear the Walking Dead season 6 teases Sherry crossover

Published

on

Fear the Walking Dead has further teased Sherry’s crossover from flagship series The Walking Dead in its upcoming sixth season.

Sherry, played by actress Christine Evangelista, last appeared on screens in the seventh season of The Walking Dead, and she becomes the third character to cross over into the spin-off show, after Morgan (Lennie James) and, of course, Sherry’s ex-husband Dwight (Austin Amelio).

In Dwight’s first episode of Fear, he revealed that he had been searching for Sherry, which led to him crossing paths with Morgan’s Group. And now it seems there’s finally a potential reunion between Dwight and Sherry on the cards in Fear season 6.

In a post on Fear‘s official Twitter account yesterday (September 14), the show teased Sherry’s return to the Walking Dead universe with a quick clip that focused on her character.

“This is the only way,” Sherry says.

Accompanying the clip was a caption too, which teased: “Is Sherry how Dwight remembers her? Find out on the return of #FearTWD on October 11th.”

Speaking about Sherry’s appearance on Fear the Walking Dead, co-showrunner Ian Goldberg previously said: “We will see Dwight and Sherry this season.”

“I don’t want to say too much else about it, but I think the thing that is really exciting to me and [fellow co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss] is we’re huge fans of the character of Dwight,” he continued.

“He’s a very different man by the end of season five on Fear than he was on The Walking Dead. There was just a whole new light to him.

“What’s interesting to us, if that reunion were to happen, is he’s a different person now, and who knows if maybe Sherry’s a different person.”

Goldberg added: “So the reunion might not be exactly what they think it is. It doesn’t mean it can’t be a great thing, but they’re both different people, and that’s a really interesting thing to explore.”

Fear the Walking Dead returns Sunday, October 11 on AMC in the US, while episodes will air a day later on Monday, October 12 on AMC UK.

Cue the screaming teens. Dixie D’Amelio enlisted fellow TikTok star Noah Beck to star in her steamy music video for the “Be Happy” remix, fueling rumors that they are more than just friends.

The 19-year-old singer released the video on Sunday, September 20, four days after she shared a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot via her YouTube channel.

“Even if you guys were in the room, I feel like it would be less weird,” D’Amelio told her team before giggling about kissing Beck, 19, at the music video shoot.

In another clip of her YouTube video, someone can be heard telling the two teenagers to just “keep kissing.”

D’Amelio and Beck first sparked dating rumors in August following her split from Griffin Johnson. While the twosome have collaborated on several TikToks and spotted together at dinner on multiple occasions, they previously revealed their relationship is strictly platonic.

“We’re just best friends,” Beck, who is also friends with Johnson, told photographers on September 2. “Just good friends.”

The social media influencer’s sister, Charli D’Amelio, also insisted that the pair are “just friends” during a chat with Hollywood Fix on September 12.

Dixie, who has more than 38 million TikTok followers, made headlines last month after Johnson, 21, was accused of cheating on her. She subsequently confirmed their split in a YouTube video titled, “My Last Date With Griffin.”

“Hey, so we actually broke up but I had this video scheduled for today so I’m posting it anyway. It was fun!” she quipped in the video, throwing up a peace sign.

The sisters opened up about dealing with the newfound interest in their personal lives during an interview with Cosmopolitan earlier this month.

“Everyone thinks that they deserve to know every detail about us,” Charli, 16, told the magazine. “There are certain things we should definitely be able to keep to ourselves because input from millions of people can, like, hurt relationships.”
