Kailyn Lowry: Jo Rivera Mom-Shamed Me for Attending a Funeral!

As has been very well documented for months now, Kailyn Lowry has plenty of issues with her third baby daddy.

The Teen Mom 2 star has a pair of kids with Chris Lopez — and many more problems than that with her occasional lover.

On the latest episode of this MTV reality series, however, Lowry clashed not with her most recent baby daddy. But with her very first.

A week after clashing with Jo Rivera over the ex-couple’s son, Isaac, not wanting to see Jo’s mother, Kailyn went at it this Tuesday night with Rivera himself.

This time, feud was sparked by Lowry attending a funeral in Texas after losing both her grandma and her sister’s mother in the same week.

It was a “rough period,’ Kailyn said on air, quite understandably.

And it was made all the rougher because “going to the funerals caused a big fight with Jo,” she explained.

Jo Rivera in 2020

The mother of four delved into these frustrations when talking to her friend, Kristen, detailing how another friend, Rachel, watched her sons while she attended a service in Texas.

“Jo and me got into a huge fight. When I was leaving the funeral, he was texting me horrible things, like he doesn’t leave Isaac with anyone but blood family,” Kailyn said.

“And I was like, ‘Literally I don’t have blood family. I don’t have a mom, I don’t have a dad, I don’t have these people so your point?’’

Kailyn in Tears

To hear Lowry tell it, Jo’s response was booth cruel and insensitive in nature.

“He never asked me who died and asking if I care about my kids,” she claimed to Rachel, adding:

“I said I’m leaving a funeral. I couldn’t stop crying.”

The reality star then read aloud a text message she said she received from her Rivera, with whom she shares 10-year-old son Isaac.

“I 1000 percent overreacted last night. And for that I apologize,” she allegedly quoted Jo as saying over his phone.

Jo Rivera with Disgust

He even continued, according to Kailyn, seemingly trying to iron out the issues between the exes as follows:

“Given our history I want to make sure I can trust you again so I am scrutinizing your actions.

“I hope you and I both have better days today.”

Why would he not trust her, Kailyn demanded to know?!?

Kailyn Lowry Goes Off

“Maybe we can have a real conversation about trust. I made the mistake of not telling you straight how I feel and for that I’m letting it come out in my actions,” Jo replied, which prompted a defensive response from Lowry.

And an aggressive one.

“I do what I have to do. I take care of Isaac,” she fumed.

“I pay for his health insurance. I make all his appointments. Make sure that he has everything that he needs.”

Kail the Kids

Lowry then cited last episode’s argument over Isaac not wanting to see his father as possiible motivation behind Rivera’s stance here.

“I don’t know if he’s starting to feel rejection from Isaac because Isaac doesn’t want to go over there,” she theorized to her friend.

When this awkward issue came up last week, Kailyn didn’t trash Jo to his son. Quite the opposite, in fact, telling the child:

“You’re so lucky because some parents that split up and have a kid or more than one kid, one of the parents isn’t always there.

“You’re very lucky your dad wants to be there and spend the time with you.”

Lowry, of course, is also mom to Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and sons Lux, 3, and one-month old Creed with ex Lopez – whom she is also currently feuding with as well.

She says she’s ready to have a fifth kid.

But we think this is a poor idea.

What Time Will ‘The Boys in the Band’ Be on Netflix?

With Broadway shut down, the Tonys canceled, and many shows that will likely never see the light of day again, 2020 has been a tough year for theater nerds. Thankfully, Netflix is offering a ray of hope with The Boys in The Band, a film adaptation of the 1968 play, produced by Ryan Murphy, and featuring the full cast of the 2018 Tony-winning revival for Broadway.

Co-written by Ned Martel and original playwright Mart Crowley, and directed by Joe Mantello, who also directed the 2018 revival, The Boys in the Band tells the story of a group of gay men in New York City in 1968, who gather to celebrate one of their birthdays. When the play first debuted off-Broadway in 1968, gay men were so widely ostracised that Crowley had difficulty getting any actors to agree to play one on the stage. Which is why, when the revival happened in 2018, the cast of entirely openly gay actors was a pretty big deal.

The Boys in the Band cast includes Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesús, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins reprising their roles from the stage, offering a front-row Broadway seat to anyone with a Netflix account. You don’t want to miss out on this one, so here’s everything you need to know about The Boys in the Band release date and release time.

The Boys in the Band will begin streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, September 30.

New titles are typically added to Netflix at 12 a.m. PT, or 3 a.m. ET, on the morning of release. Therefore, The Boys in the Band will be on Netflix at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET on the morning of Wednesday, September 30. (Or Tuesday night, depending on how you look at it.) If the clock strikes midnight on the west coast and you still don’t see The Boys in the Band on Netflix, trying refreshing the page, or logging out and logging back in.

There sure is, and you can watch it right here. Simply scroll up and hit play on the video at the top of this article. Enjoy!

Game of Thrones’ George RR Martin reveals scene he disliked most

Game of Thrones author George RR Martin has revealed his least favourite scene in the series – and no, it isn’t anything that takes place in Dorne or season eight.

The hit HBO series came to an end last year, though a behind-the-scenes book called Fire Cannot Kill A Dragon takes a deeper dive behind-the-scenes of the show.

In one extract, Martin reveals that he wasn’t a fan of a season one scene that saw King Robert out hunting with three other men.

“Where we really fell down in terms of budget was my least favorite scene in the entire show, in all eight seasons: King Robert goes hunting,” the author explains (via Den of Geek). “Four guys walking on foot through the woods carrying spears and Robert is giving Renly shit.

“In the books, Robert goes off hunting, we get word that he was gored by a boar, and they bring him back and he dies. So I never did [a hunting scene]. But I knew what a royal hunting party was like.

“There would have been a hundred guys,” he continues. “There would have been pavilions. There would have been huntsmen. There would have been dogs. There would have been horns blowing – that’s how a king goes hunting!

“He wouldn’t have just been walking through the woods with three of his friends holding spears hoping to meet a boar. But at that point, we couldn’t afford horses or dogs or pavilions.”

Meanwhile, showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss recently opened-up about their controversial decision to omit the character of Lady Stoneheart from Martin’s books on the TV show.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are now available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner surprises fans with hair transformation

Gogglebox‘s Ellie Warner has changed up her hair again and she’s gone for a very bold look this time.

Six weeks after her last hair transformation, which saw her try out a half pink, half lilac ‘do that her sister and co-star Izzi Warner likened to “a candy floss cruella devil [sic]”, Ellie has made another dramatic change.

The star shared an excited photo to Instagram of her new pink and blue hair, which she jokingly compared to a frozen slushie drink.

Her followers praised her new look, with Izzi joking: “Do you want blue slush or pink? I’ll have both please,” and fellow Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford commenting: “LOVE IT.”

Izzi recently shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her and her sister back together on their sofas for filming, revealing how excited they were to be back on the show after a summer break.

Izzi has also shown off her weight loss after giving birth to daughter Bessie Rose in February by sharing a photo on Instagram of her and partner Grant’s date night.

Gogglebox has implemented social distancing measures this year, with cameras rigged in the homes of the stars in both the regular and celebrity versions of the shows to prevent direct interaction with the crew.

Izzi was also temporarily replaced on the show by Ellie’s partner Nat earlier this year due to the social distancing rules, while best friends Jenny Newby and Lee Riley isolated together in order to keep filming.

Gogglebox currently airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4, with episodes available to catch up on via All4.
