Kanye West Posted A Video Of Himself Peeing On A Grammy Award

Over the past few days, Kanye West has been emphatic about his issues with the music industry, both in terms of his own contractual obligations and those of other artists more broadly. This afternoon, he continued to express his dissatisfaction with the industry, doing so with a symbolic display: He shared a video in which he appears to pee on a Grammy Award trophy.

The video was shot from a top-down point-of-view angle and it shows Kanye, or at least somebody wearing Yeezy Foam Runners, seemingly urinating into a toilet. In the toilet, however, sits a Grammy Award, presumably one of the 21 that Kanye has won over the course of his career. He captioned his post, “Trust me … I WONT STOP.” The video racked up 1.6 million views in its first 20 minutes.

The clip appears to be a form of protest against the music industry at large. Last night, he tweeted about how artists should own their own master recordings, writing in a series of tweets, “In the streaming world master ownership is everything… that is the bulk of the income … in COVID artist need our masters … it’s more important than ever before. […] The artist deserve to own our masters … artist are starving without tours … Ima go get our masters … for all artist … pray for me.”

Could a ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Movie Happen Post-Emmys? Dan Levy Sets the Record Straight

Sunday night was a good night to be a member of the Schitt’s Creek team at the 2020 Emmys. The comedy co-created by father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy (both also star alongside Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy) has gained a passionate fanbase since finding a second home on Netflix in recent years. With its sixth and final season in the can and that aforementioned fanbase rooting for them, the Schitt’s Creek team came to the Emmys as a strong contender and hoping to end their run on a high note. Incredibly, Schitt’s Creek blew its competition out of the water, winning every single comedy category and cementing its place in comedy television history.

Following the big Schitt’s Creek sweep, the Emmy-winning quartet of O’Hara, Murphy, and the Levys sat down in Vanity Fair‘s virtual pressroom to go over their big night. When VF asked whether Schitt’s Creek‘s Emmys sweep had now improved its chances to continue as a movie, Dan offered his realistic opinion. While he didn’t entirely shoot the idea down, he did give the strong impression that, as co-creator, he saw no need to pursue a Schitt‘s Creek movie at this time.

“Here’s the thing: This is the best way we could have ever ended the show. So if there is an idea that ever pops into my head, worthy of these wonderful people, it has to be really freaking good at this point…because this was a really nice way of saying goodbye…so fingers crossed that we get a really good idea that comes into our head.”

Dan’s comments make total sense — even if it might be disappointing for fans. Without spoiling, Schitt’s Creek Season 6 wrapped up the show is a really lovely and satisfying way for our beloved once-lost, now-found Rose family. With the show managing to give every Rose family member the ending they deserved after six years of growing pains, it makes sense to allow the show some time to rest. That said, Dan also didn’t give a flat-out “no” to the idea of a movie, which gives me hope it’s still up for discussion further down the line.

Schitt’s Creek Seasons 1-5 are currently streaming on Netflix. Schitt’s Creek Season 6 (the final season!) is expected to arrive on Netflix later in 2020. Get caught up with the rest of our 2020 Emmys coverage here.

General Hospital Spoilers: Week of September 21 Preview – Ethan Returns To PC – Nina Quizzes Ava About Nik – Ned Decks Valentin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that viewers are in for a big week on the ABC soap. The new GH weekly preview promo is out, and it promises a Big September. This promo moves fast, so let’s get right into it! First off, there are some scenes included in the promo that played out last week in the Monte Carlo casino.

As GH viewers will remember, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) encountered Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) there.

Well, this week, it looks like Ethan will join Robert and Olivia as they travel home to Port Charles. Ethan is shown briefly in the promo on a plane, and other GH spoilers indicate that he’ll be traveling with Robert and Olivia on that plane, and together the trio will surely discuss everything that went down at the casino.

Will Robert and Ethan suspect that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is alive, as viewers now know that she is?

The General Hospital preview promo also shows a man shuffling cards, which could be the same hands that viewers saw in the security room at the casino, as he watched Holly being held captive in a room there. One wonders if we’ll see any more of this mystery man now that it seems that Robert, Ethan, and Olivia have left the casino scene.

Next, the promo moves to a spilt screen including Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), who looked harried and surprised by something. As GH viewers know, Sasha has been taking drugs here and there to cope with the emotional pain of losing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

We’ll see if she goes any further down that path this week. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is also included in that split screen – it looks like she’ll be dealing with an Osteoporosis diagnosis this week.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will be dealing with her new normal, which seems tp be a very intimate relationship with her hubby Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

As GH viewers know, Ava and Nikolas made love at the cabin last week, and this week, it seems that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will hear all about what happened there. “Are you falling for Nikolas?” Nina asks Ava in the promo.

The new GH promo also shows an intense scene between Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Of course, Ned is peeved with Valentin’s recent takeover of ELQ, and he surely blames Valentin for his estrangement from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane).

Ned’s also been frustrated since Olivia ran off with Robert, and it looks like Valentin will bear the brunt of that frustration, as Ned decks Valentin big time!

Of course, while it might feel satisfying to Ned in the moment to punch Valentin, in the long run it will probably only cause more problems for him. Valentin clearly has the upper hand at ELQ, and he could really make Ned’s like even more of a living hell than it already is!

Finally, the promo shows Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in a quick scene looking tense, which is no doubt related to the extended reach of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on Curtis’ family.

And Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) is shown getting upset with Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) as Dr. Kirk tells Dante that the offer to release him has been rescinded by the powers that be at the WBS.

Dante is probably more motivated than ever to get home right now, especially since Mike Corbin (Max Gail) has passed away and he senses that his family needs him.

Plus, Dante will probably be growing more interested in the mission involving someone he knows in Port Charles, so we’ll probably see Dante lobby to leave WSB custody pretty heavily in the week to come.

It looks like we’re in for an exciting week, so stay tuned! We’ll give you updates as GH news comes in. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, news, and daily episode recaps.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante Escapes from WSB After Release Denied?

General Hospital spoiler’s new promo reveals Dante Falconeri‘s (Dominic Zamprogna) release from the WSB gets denied so he may take matters into his own hands. Also, several shockers are in store that are game-changers on GH. Check out what lies ahead this week on the ABC sudser.

General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Hits Road Block

Coming up on General Hospital, Dante Falconeri gets terrible news. Soon, Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) tells Dante his release from the facility’s denied. Now that Dante Falconeri wants to get cured and return to his life, the WSB holds Dante back. However, Dante just learned that his grandfather Mike Corbin (Max Gail) was on his deathbed.

So, Dante Falconeri may not take no for an answer and gets home any way he can. Soon, Dante may break out of the treatment center and try to get back to Port Chuck to see his family. Of course, there is a chance the authorities may relent and let Dante go. But, if they don’t, Dante Falconeri may break out to get to Mike’s funeral on General Hospital.

Valentin Attacked on GH

This week on General Hospital, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finds himself on the wrong end of someone’s fist. Soon, it looks like it’s Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) that punches Valentin square in the mouth. Currently, nothing is going right for Ned in terms of business or his personal life.

Indeed, Val is to blame for Ned losing ELQ. So, it looks like Ned loses his temper and lashes out at Valentin. Elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets the news that she has Osteoporosis. And, Alexis might break down soon. Also, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) gets more reckless and risks losing anything good in her life on General Hospital.

Ava Falling for Nikolas on General Hospital

Soon to come on General Hospital, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) calls Ava Jerome (Maura West) out on her feelings for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Clearly, it looks like Ava is falling in love with Nikolas. And, Nikolas seems to be falling for Ava as well. Hopefully, they can both let their guard down and let each other into their hearts. No doubt, Nikolas and Ava could be a force to be reckoned with.

If only, they can admit their feelings and pursue a real marriage. Meanwhile, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) is still around. Hopefully, he and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will realize they were given false information. And Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is still very much alive. Don’t miss this explosive week on GH as Dante Falconeri suffers a setback now that he’s finally ready to get home to his family on ABC daytime.
