‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’: Whitney Thore is ‘Confused About’ Motherhood

Published

on

My Big Fat Fabulous Life‘s Whitney Thore says motherhood is confusing. Being a mother has always been important to Whitney. And she said recently that she might never be the mother to be a human baby—but that doesn’t stop her from mothering her three cats and her dog.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Strikes Out

Whitney Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life has always wanted to be a mom either naturally or through adoption. She even put in the work by going into an adoption agency and finding out what she should do. Sadly, she found out it’s difficult to adopt a child as a single mother. She also found out that Korea does not allow you to adopt their children if you are over a certain BMI.

The latest heartbreak was that her ex-fiance Chase Severino from My Big Fat Fabulous Life told her he didn’t want to have children. He thought he was too young, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted kids at all. With Whitney Thore’s clock ticking, she wasn’t happy with this answer.

Despite Chase saying he didn’t want kids, he got another girl pregnant while with Whitney. So far, My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans don’t know what exactly happened, but they do know it can’t be easy for My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Thore.

Whitney Opens Up About Being a Fur Parent

Whitney recently said, “I still feel confused about being a dog mom.” Fans of My Big Fat Fabulous Life tried to help. One of the fans said, “Why? Dogs just want love and attention and will love u unconditionally in return. It’s just that simple.” Whitney said her challenge is because it is different than having cats. And that being a cat mom is what is normal to her.

Other fans said that being a dog mom looks good on Whitney Thore. But others shared their stories of being furry parents to pups. And Whitney seemed like she felt a little bit better. It is likely different having to walk them around all of the time. Cats are very independent.

One My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewer said that dogs come and go too quickly. And to enjoy her time with her furry baby.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Gearing Up for a New Season

Fans thanked Whitney for sharing her life with them on TLC. And they asked when she would come back on TV so they could see her new addition on television. Whitney Thore reminded everyone the show would be back on November 10th.

In fact, it seems like Whitney is making some extra trips for content for this season. Whitney Thore said she hadn’t been out of the house much at all since March. But now she’s taking road trips and going out to see a few friends. And “Puppy girl” is always along with her.

2-Week-Old Piglet Named Dynamite Gets An Adorable Photoshoot (14 Pics)

Professional photoshoots are a great way of celebrating a number of occasions (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc.) as well as just celebrating life, like having a newborn photoshoot.

Speaking of newborn photoshoots, Cashlie White, a mother of 2 and photographer from Newcastle, Oklahoma, recently did a newborn photoshoot that has been making headlines online. A photoshoot of a newborn piglet. Oh, you better believe it’s adorable!

Ever heard of newborn photoshoots? What about newborn piglet photoshoots? Equally adorable!

So, Cashlie’s friend Connie Hamilton owns the piglet named Dynamite along with its entire piglet family, the Hamilton Show Pigs. Since Dynamite is the runt of the litter, Connie had to give her special attention.

“She posted a picture of Dynamite on her Facebook page and I reached out and said ‘Connie, we’ve GOT to do a newborn session with your baby pig!’” explained Cashlie. “It was just a fun thing to do. I’d seen photos of puppies like that, but never a pig! I’ve loved and been around agriculture my whole life, so being able to put my love for animals and my passion and skill for photography together just made sense.”

And so the photoshoot was born. As it turns out, taking photos of a piglet is pretty much like taking photos of a newborn baby: she got a bath before the shoot and was gently put to sleep with all the shooshing and swaddling tricks whilst being rocked in Cashlie’s arms.

Dynamite was kept warm using the small space heater that Cashlie owns for such occasions, and the room was kept quiet so as to facilitate sleep. Soon, the piglet was out in slumberland.

“Honestly, she was easier than some newborn babies I’ve had. She was only 2 weeks old, so that helped with her being comfortable sleeping,” elaborated Cashlie. “We gave her a bath and then I swaddled and shooshed her like a baby. I had a small space heater to help keep her warm and she went to sleep in my arms.”

This was Cashlie’s first photoshoot of a newborn animal, but this experience was enough to inspire her to do more animal photoshoots:

“I’ll be trying to work with more farm animals in the coming weeks and months: baby chicks, goats, sheep, and more. I’m open to all animals, though!”

She continued: “I hope that I’ll be able to continue doing these types of shoots because it’s obviously something the world needs more of and I’m hoping more people reach out to let me take photos of their animals!”

The photoshoot soon found its way onto the internet, where it drew lots of people’s attention. Photos popped up on Cashlie’s professional photography page and were soon picked up by a number of media outlets online, leaving Cashlie quite surprised it has gone viral as much as it has.

“I thought the photos would get a good response from our friends and family, but I could have never imagined that they would go viral! God is so faithful and good. I think the world just needed some good in their newsfeeds and Dynamite was exactly that.”

She continued: “The owner, Connie Hamilton, said she couldn’t stop smiling after I left, then when the photos started to go viral, she got teary. We’re both just so thankful that God has blessed us with this opportunity.”

People were melting at the mere sight of the newborn piglet all cuddled up in the warm newborn blankets, seemingly giving a piggy-like smile whilst snorting away in her dreams. Many complimented Cashlie’s photography, saying this is one of the best photoshoots they have ever seen.

Reese’s New Big Cups With Pretzels Are A Sweet & Salty Combo

Published

Get ready to treat your taste buds to a new flavor from Reese’s. Reese’s Big Cup with Pretzels is a salty spin on the classic chocolate-and-peanut butter bites you know and love. If you’re ready to add a flavorful combo to your go-to sweet treat, here are the details on Reese’s new Big Cups with Pretzels.

Reese’s announced the new offering on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and it’s a tasty spin on a classic. The new Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels feature the brand’s classic oversized chocolate cups packed with pretzel bits inside the iconic peanut butter filling. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long to try the sweet and salty combo, as it’s set to roll out to nationwide retailers beginning in November 2020. If you want a bite-size version, Reese’s has you covered. Peanut Butter Cups with Pretzels Miniatures will hit stores in January 2021, and both will be permanent offerings in the Reese’s lineup.

When the sweet and salty snacks arrive in stores, a 1.3-ounce single Big Cup package will cost $1.49, a king size 2.6-ounce package with two Big Cups will cost $2.09, and a package of the minis will run you $3.79.

Exciting as this news is, it’s not actually coming out of the blue. The brand alluded to the rumored treat in a Sept. 18 tweet, which teased the pretzel release and read: “Wanna know why I’m so salty? [James Corden] leaked the wrong cup on [The Late Late Show].

Mock-ups of the stuffed Reese’s Cups with Chips had been floating around on foodie IG accounts, and James Corden even mentioned them on his Sept. 15 episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. But it turns out fans were hyping the wrong salty treat. Reese’s potato chip offering won’t be available March 2021. When it does launch, the limited-edition treat looks like it’ll feature pieces of potato chips inside the peanut butter filling of the chocolate cup, similar to this new pretzel version.

As you keep an eye out for the new Reese’s flavors during your grocery runs, you should also remember to follow the coronavirus safety recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as of Aug. 3. They include only running errands when necessary, wearing a face mask, practicing social distancing whenever possible, and sanitizing your hands after leaving a store.

If you think you’re showing symptoms of coronavirus, which include fever, shortness of breath, and cough, call your doctor before going to get tested. If you’re anxious about the virus’s spread in your community, visit the CDC for up-to-date information and resources, or seek out mental health support. Sterling K. Brown, Gabrielle Union to lead all-black ‘Friends’ project

Now it’s Sterling K. Brown’s time to scream, “we were on a break!”

The “This Is Us” actor — and 2020 Emmy nominee after two previous wins — will play Ross Geller in a re-imagining of “Friends” with an all-black cast.

Live on Zoom on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. EST, fans of the hit NBC sitcom will get to see their favorite show like never before. The free event, hosted by Gabrielle Union, is to benefit When We All Vote, an organization that encourages voting.

Uzo Aduba, who just won an Emmy for her role in “Mrs. America,” will assume the role Lisa Kudrow created: Phoebe Buffay, reported “Today.” Actress Ryan Bathe, who is married to Brown, will take the role of Rachel Green, originally played by 2020 Emmy nominee Jennifer Aniston. Aisha Hinds will play Monica Geller in lieu of Courteney Cox. Kendrick Sampson of “Insecure” and Jeremy Pope from Netflix’s “Hollywood” will play Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing, roles originated by Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, respectively.

The actors will take on one of the most well-known “Friends” episodes, “The One Where No One’s Ready” from Season 3. Ross has the gang accompany him to a benefit at the museum he works at, and they can’t be late. Monica stalks her ex-boyfriend, Richard, through his voicemail. Rachel can’t decide what to wear. Phoebe spills hummus on her dress. Chandler and Joey fight over couch cushions.

This isn’t the only “Friends” gathering to happen this week. At the Emmy Awards on Sunday night, Aniston, Cox and Kudrow reunited for a “Friends”-themed bit.

Brown has had his hand in reunions as well. The actor was spotted with the cast of “The West Wing” over the weekend, who reunited for a special on HBO Max. It will also benefit When We All Vote.
