Most will recognize Rachael Ray as the host of popular TV programs like her eponymous daytime show, 30 Minute Meals, and Rachael Ray’s Week In A Day, and as the author of best-selling cookbooks like The Book of Burger and Comfort Food.
However, Rachael has other talents as well. A wonderful singer, she also delighted fans with brilliant takes on hit songs like “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” So, which songs did Rachael perform in the past?
Chef, author, and TV host Rachael Ray is a mightily talented singer.
Rachael married actor, producer, and musician John M. Cusimano in the autumn of 2005 — and they’ve been inseparable ever since. As the celebrity cook and television show host revealed in a previous interview with Aol.com, they’ve barely ever gone a day without speaking to each other either in person or on the phone. It’s perhaps reasonable to assume that John’s passion for music had a great deal of influence on Rachael as well.
Rachael joined her husband and the members of his band, The Cringe, alongside a handful of other musicians to perform a brilliant new take on “Without You” by Pearl Jam only recently. Taped in their respective homes, the recording and the accompanying video attest to an experimental spirit and a D.I.Y. approach to music-making. The tune featured on the Season 15 premiere of Rachael Ray, and it was also shared on the show’s official YouTube channel.
Enthusiastic fans have taken to Twitter to applaud the show host for her exceptional singing chops.
“@rachaelray singing with her husband John and his band on the @rachaelrayshow today. Rachael, I never knew you could sing! You sing great!” tweeted a person.
“@rachaelray you’re a singer baby!!!! Wow!!” wrote another person.
“Rachael Ray is a singer now?” asked somebody else.
Before “Without You” would have come out, Rachael also provided the vocals for an adaptation of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John, also created by The Cringe.
Released on June 22, 2020, the song and the video prove that it’s possible to overcome the artistic challenges a lockdown poses. Take Rachael and John, who taped the whole song in their beautifully-decorated home studio.
The fantastic song was performed on the Season 14 finale of Rachael Ray. There’s a perfectly good chance that the incredibly talented show host, her husband, and the members of The Cringe might turn this into a regular habit and treat viewers to other, just as catchy adaptations as well in the future.
LPBW’s Amy Roloff Gets Candid About Leaving Family Farm After 30 Years on Season 21 Premiere: It’s ‘Not Easy’
Out with the old, and in with the new. Amy Roloff opened up about how difficult it was to leave the family farm after 30 years on the season 21 premiere of Little People, Big World, which aired on Tuesday, September 29.
The TV personality, 56, said it had been a bittersweet time in her life, with many blessings to be excited about as well as many memories to leave behind.
“I got engaged, I bought a house and I have two new grandchildren. Chris [Marek] hasn’t moved into the house full-time, but we are working hard to make this house our own. Life on the farm has definitely changed for me. I’m very excited to see where my life goes, but definitely leaving the farm after 30 years is not easy,” she shared while seated alongside her fiancé in a confessional.
Amy said she would be getting everything prepared by the holidays so she could have a smooth transition. “I’ll be moving in my bedroom set, washer and dryer, some other basic things,” she revealed. “It will feel strange not to be waking up each morning at the farmhouse, but … I’m excited for this new adventure.”
Her husband-to-be was also looking forward to having new digs together, revealing he lived alone “nearly all” of his adult life and was grateful the relocation was going to be a “slow process” because that would be ideal for both of them.
The TLC star fully moved out of the home she shared with her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, 58, in January 2020, and fans are now getting to see it play out.
“Amy’s living on the north side in the big house, which we still own together. Since she bought a new house, she’s going to be moving out soon, so we’re going to need to figure out what we want to do with that side of the farm,” Matt explained while discussing his buyout plans with girlfriend Caryn Chandler on the premiere.
Matt said he wanted to get it taken care of so their family could “have closure” following their 2016 divorce. Caryn expressed her worries and told him to “table his expectations” since Amy didn’t usually make quick decisions, however he was hopeful they could come to a mutual agreement and move on with their lives.
Fans are glad to see Matt and Amy trying to work through their differences, although we suspect there will be some clashing along the way!
CNN cans all but four of its NYC-based makeup artists
Call it glow down?
Sources say CNN has let go of nearly all its makeup artists, leaving just four at its NYC studios. The artists learned of the layoffs on a company call last week, we hear. Most CNN reporters have been doing their own makeup for on-air spots during the pandemic.
We hear that top talent will still be professionally made up, such as Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo and Brian Stelter.
An insider told us: “It’s an industry-wide problem. We had full-time makeup artists and freelancers … The staff have been paid since the pandemic started, which doesn’t make financial sense.”
