The Walking Dead World Beyond boss promises Rick Grimes answers

Ever since Rick Grimes’ departure from The Walking Dead back in season nine, fans have been desperate to find out just where he was taken to in that helicopter.

While the upcoming spin-off movies will no doubt resolve that mystery, it seems that we may get some answers even sooner in new series World Beyond.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about whether we’ll learn anything new about Grimes’ whereabouts, showrunner Matt Negrete teased: “I can’t really spoil yes or no.

“But I will say that you will get answers as to potentially where Rick was taken. I think that we’ll also get answers in terms of why he was taken there.

“But more importantly, it’s really about exploring this world that’s going to open up, and it will fit in, in a very important way, with some mythology that was set up in the initial episode of The Walking Dead.”

It comes after Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln recently gave an update on the character’s own spin-off, explaining that the movies were very much still happening.

“All I heard was, ‘Come back, Rick.’ It was so moving,” he recalled of a fan interaction. “I turned around, and I just went, ‘We’re working on it.’ So that’s my answer to you, we’re working on it.”

Meanwhile, Negrete recently revealed why World Beyond would be only two seasons long, saying: “The thing about World Beyond, it was always about how can we make this feel different? How can we support expectations in a lot of ways? And one of those is not having it necessarily be open-ended.

“I’m kind of [in] two minds about it, because right now we’re breaking episode seven of season two with the writers, and we’ve all fallen in love with these characters. So I think for all of us, we feel like we could write these characters forever. But, at the same time, it’s nice to be able to approach a series from beginning to end kind of knowing what our ending is going to be and working towards that ending.”

The Walking Dead: World Beyond will premiere on Sunday, October 4 on AMC in the US and Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

American Murder: The Family Next Door is coming to Netflix tonight

Watch American Murder: The Family Next Door tonight on Netflix

The new chilling Netflix original documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door is set to release on Netflix tonight at 12:01 a.m. PT. Those of us on the East Coast will have to wait until 3:01 a.m. for the release of this documentary.

For all true crime enthusiasts, this documentary will be well worth the wait. Even those people who may not enjoy true crime, this documentary will catch your attention with its reporting and never before seen archives.

It’s the story we all know. The story that struck America back in 2018. The disappearances of Shanann Watts and her two young daughters, Celeste and Bella.

This is a heartbreaking story that went from a mom and her two daughters missing, to something much bigger.

Watch the trailer below!

Back on Aug. 14, 2018, Shanann and her two daughters were reported missing in their home town of Frederick, Colorado. A few days later, their bodies were discovered in an oil field after Shanann’s husband, Chris Watts, confessed to the murders and told investigators where he disposed of the bodies.

This documentary which is directed by the incredible Jenny Popplewell is different than most documentaries. American Murder uses social media, police video, text messages, home videos, and more to tell its story. This entire documentary is told through the eyes and voice of the people involved in this case.

It’s always good to have the people that were involved help shape the story rather than the ones on the outside and director Jenny Popplewell does a terrific job piecing these archive videos together. Most importantly, Jenny lets the victim, Shanann, tell the story in her own words.

With that being said, American Murder will most likely not have reasoning or made sense of why this terrible tragedy happened but will show and remind you that social media is sometimes a front. That what may look like the perfect life online to others could be far different once that phone or computer is shut off. It, unfortunately, was for Shanann.

It’s always tough hearing stories that end in such tragedy and this documentary is no different but there’s always some light that comes out of even the darkest of situations.

Make sure you tune into American Murder: The Family Next Door as it hits Netflix tonight.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Enjoy a Romantic Dinner for Two in a Parking Lot

After a tumultuous few months in their relationship, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West rekindled the romance with a private dinner for two, which took place in what looks like a parking lot outside an enormous tent.

West shared a photo of his night out with his wife on Twitter, showing a table with two chairs illuminated exclusively by a car’s headlights outside of a huge tent. Through a small circular opening in the tent’s wall, a brilliant blue interior and what appears to be a natural-wood upright piano can be seen, perhaps set up so the rapper could serenade Kardashian after their meal. He captioned the image, “Dinner for 2,” with a dove emoji. The reality star retweeted her husband’s post, adding two dove emojis of her own.

This romantic gesture comes after a very difficult summer for the couple. Over the past few months, West has tweeted out personal information about his wife, the status of their marriage, and most recently was temporarily suspended from the platform after he shared the phone number of Forbes Media’s chief content officer, Randall Lane, and a video of what appears to be him peeing on his own Grammy Award. All of which reportedly left Kardashian feeling “at the end of her rope—again.”

Just over a week ago, a source told People, “It’s the same thing over and over and over again. He’s on very thin ice with her right now, and she’s truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids, but also her own sanity. The whole thing is discouraging and difficult for her.” They added, “For such a powerful woman, she feels very powerless, and she hates it. She loves Kanye very much, and he just doesn’t realize how much pain he’s causing her.” Hopefully, the couple was able to hash out all of these issues during their intimate meal under a Yeezy tent and night sky.
