Love Island USA season 2 newcomer Lakeyn Call is a music lover from Florida who is ready to get the party started in the villa. Get to know her.

Love Island USA season 2 newcomer Lakeyn Call is a music lover from Florida who is ready to get the party started in the villa. So far, there have been a total of 31 islanders on this second season of Love Island USA. Ten of them were introduced during the Casa Amor twist, but the vast majority were introduced during different weeks and situations. Modern seasons of the original British Love Island average 50 days in length. However, the American seasons have so far been much shorter. This time around, Love Island USA season 2 is scheduled to end on Tuesday, September 29, which means that it’ll be just over 40 days long.

With so many islanders coming in and going out on Love Island USA, the viewers are having a hard time getting to know some of the contestants that are introduced to the series. With that said, this season has done a much better job of allowing viewers to spend some time with these characters and using newcomers to create drama within the existing couples. The Casa Amor twist was a huge success, for instance, and most of the incoming islanders have left their mark on the season even after they were dumped from the Las Vegas villa.

This week, Love Island USA season 2 is introducing two new girls. One of them is Lakeyn Call, who identifies herself as being from Florida. Lakeyn is a huge music lover who regularly attends music festivals around the country. On her Instagram, Lakeyn has a variety of pictures of herself at the beach, on the pool, and partying with her girl friends. She has quite a few pictures at clubs and at outdoor music festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. During a year like 2020 that is facing a health pandemic, it seems like Love Island is right up Lakeyn’s alley and she’ll bring the party to the Las Vegas villa.

There are a lot of Love Island USA couples that are pretty established at this point. However, enough mistakes were made at Casa Amor to prove that these boys might have their head turns at any given moment. The fans are hoping that Johnny won’t make another mistake and disappoint Cely yet again, but boys like Carrington and Calvin might as well try something new given that their relationships aren’t that solid. In any case, these islanders are just a week away from the season 2 finale, which means that they have to start thinking about their endgame strategy.

Next week, one lucky couple will win the $100,000 grand prize. It is unlikely that one of the new girls entering the villa this week will be able to take home the prize, but they can still shake things up and make things harder for the lovebirds who think that their relationships are solid.

Why an ‘active’ approach to risk modelling is key to navigating markets today

Published

Whether investors are aiming for a cautious approach or a riskier investment profile with the potential for higher returns, Architas’ Blended Fund range is designed to match a range of investor risk appetites. And like many asset managers, Architas predominantly uses two approaches to define asset allocation within the five risk bands used in the Blended Range – strategic and tactical.

Whilst risk model provider EValue’s quantitative approach to asset allocation takes into account the long-term performance of different asset classes and the likely future performance given current valuations, along with long-term measures of volatility and correlations with other asset classes. Yet as with most systems of its kinds, EValue focuses on the long term; it is unable to analyse short-term market movements and fluctuations. So whilst it would have seen that in Q1 2020 markets fell by a record percentage before rebounding, it will not be able to factor in the cost of the coronavirus and lockdown and its impact on markets. Similarly, it is not able to consider ongoing Brexit woes, geo-political trade wars or the outcome of the US election in 2020.
