When is Dexter season 9 coming to Netflix?

When will Dexter season 9 be on Netflix?

Dexter fans, wake up!! It’s your time again. Like 2020 didn’t have enough surprises already, here’s another one. Dexter season 9 is happening!

Showtime is reviving the TV series for 10 more episodes.

Both Dexter himself, Micheal C. Hall, and executive producer, showrunner, and writer, Clyde Phillips are coming back for the limited series. The show is set to go into production in early 2021, according to Deadline, with a fall 2021 premiere date on Showtime.

Whether that stays that way or the date gets pushed back all depends on what’s going on with the pandemic. If it does air on Showtime in the fall of 2021, we can probably expect to see it come to Netflix in the fall of 2022, about a year after the premiere.

Who else comes back to the show remains to be seen. Dexter’s sister, Deb Morgan, died during the series finale (it aired 7 years ago, so spoilers are allowed, right?), so most likely Jennifer Carpenter isn’t coming back unless there are some flashbacks. If there are flashbacks, we might also see more od Dexter’s father, Harry (played by James Remar),

Dexter’s friend, Detective Angel Batista, was still alive by the end of season 8, so there is a chance David Zayas could be back for the new season.

Vince Masuka, another one of Dexter’s friends in the forensics department, was also alive by the end of the series so C.S. Lee could be back as well. These two characters always brought some good comic relief to a very intense show, so it’d be nice to see them return.

The show ended with Dexter faking his own death and assuming a new identity in Oregon. Will that be what the new season about? Or will we see him go back to Miami and deal with the aftermath of his fake death? We’ll all have to wait and see.

Since the finale was not the most popular ending of a show ever, this may be a way to redeem what a lot of fans were less-than-enthused about back in 2013 when the show originally ended. Faking his own death and ending up in Oregon as a lumberjack?? Dexter, come on! That’s not you! Hopefully, he gets back to his serial killing ways.

Why an ‘active’ approach to risk modelling is key to navigating markets today

Published

Whether investors are aiming for a cautious approach or a riskier investment profile with the potential for higher returns, Architas’ Blended Fund range is designed to match a range of investor risk appetites. And like many asset managers, Architas predominantly uses two approaches to define asset allocation within the five risk bands used in the Blended Range – strategic and tactical.

Whilst risk model provider EValue’s quantitative approach to asset allocation takes into account the long-term performance of different asset classes and the likely future performance given current valuations, along with long-term measures of volatility and correlations with other asset classes. Yet as with most systems of its kinds, EValue focuses on the long term; it is unable to analyse short-term market movements and fluctuations. So whilst it would have seen that in Q1 2020 markets fell by a record percentage before rebounding, it will not be able to factor in the cost of the coronavirus and lockdown and its impact on markets. Similarly, it is not able to consider ongoing Brexit woes, geo-political trade wars or the outcome of the US election in 2020.
