What you don’t know about Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan

Even as Yellowstone continues to entertain with an endless menagerie of modern cowboy carnage and peurile political maneuvering, fans would likely point to the show’s authenticity as the factor that keeps them coming back. And in spite of the series’ melodramatic manipulations, the thing that makes Yellowstone so watchable is that Sheridan and Co. continue to paint a patently realistic picture of a dying way of life. And at least part of that authenticity stems from the fact that Sheridan himself actually lived that life in his formative years.

Seems the talented writer, director, and actor grew up riding horses and corralling cattle on his family’s ranch in Cranfills Gap, Texas, according to both the Deadline interview and Wide Open Country. And even in his youth, one has to think Sheridan could see that way of life quickly fading. As such, it’s no surprise he didn’t linger long in the family business, with the ruggedly square-jawed Sheridan catching the acting bug during his time at Texas State University.

Whatever the case, there’s little question Sheridan’s upbringing plays a big part in informing the narrative of his hit series. So too, it seems, did one of the most epic small screen series of the modern era. “The linear format of TV is almost dead and people binge-watch and it’s very hard for these commercial television channels to compete. This was my answer to Game of Thrones. Not in sheer size, but in saying, ‘Hey, guys, you can do this too; a different version.’ You can actually use commercial breaks to your benefit, build tension with them. It can be a more communal viewing experience.”

It’s safe to say millions of Yellowstone viewers agree on that.

Virgin Australia Holidays is Closing Down

23 October, 2020Author: Matt Graham

IN BRIEF | Following the demise of Tigerair, another of Virgin Australia’s businesses is being permanently shut down as the fallout from COVID-19 sadly continues.

Virgin Australia Holidays will be closed from 31 October 2020, bringing an end to Virgin Australia’s Mystery Breaks, AFL Travel and Supercars Travel Packages.

Launched in 2003 by then Virgin Blue as “Blue Holidays”, Virgin Australia Holidays offered flight, hotel and tour packages. Customers were able to earn Velocity points for all tour packages.

Virgin Australia blames “the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and travel restrictions” for the closure of the business. It seems Virgin didn’t consider it worthwhile to continue operating its travel agency after the voluntary administration period ends next month.

Sadly, this isn’t the first travel agency to go out of business this year – and it won’t be the last either.

Existing Virgin Australia Holidays bookings will still be honoured. But if you need to cancel an existing booking, you’ll only receive a Virgin Australia flight credit and not a refund. If you booked on or before 20 April 2020, you’ll be issued with a Future Flight credit.

More information for affected customers is available on the Virgin Australia Holidays website.

Has Kendall Jenner forgotten how to wear a bra? The model is adamant that she will flash the red carpet this year

Oops, she did it again!

Kendall Jenner, the “free the nipples” advocate who has openly declared she’s “cool with her breasts,” continues to grace the red carpet without a bra. Most recently spotted in Cannes, parading the red carpet in sheer dresses, revealing her supermodel assets.

To explain to her fans about her fascination of baring it all, she shared a post on her website and app last year stating that shes’ “all about freeing the nipple.”

“I just think it’s cool to show off what’s under your shirt — whether that’s a cute bralette or just skin,” she wrote.

“I really don’t see what the big deal is with going braless,” Jenner wrote on her website and an app. “I think it’s cool and I really just don’t care! It’s sexy, it’s comfortable and I’m cool with my breasts. That’s it!”

Abiding by her motto, the highest paid supermodel toured the French Riviera in all skin.

At the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Girls Of The Sun’ on Saturday, Jenner hit the carpet in a sheer white tulled Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown that was so transparent that her nipples were clearly visible.

She later took to social media, wearing a sparkling see-through mini dress and joked that she accidentally revealed her nipples. She captioned her picture “oops.”

Kendall Jenner has bared her nipples in a number of red carpet events even prior to Cannes.  Earlier this month, at a Tiffany & Co. party, the 22-year-old went braless in a white beaded Elie Saab mini dress and diamonds.

And mind you, the red carpet isn’t the only venue she goes braless. There have been her street fashion moments where she’s skipped hinging the bra. It has become a part of her street style aesthetics. Remember the time she wore a see-through ruffle-embellished Bec & Bridge top that clearly revealed her nipples? Here’s how she did it.

But then again, ever since Kendall ventured into her modeling career, she’s been very comfortable revealing her nipples. The supermodel got her first taste of the braless life on the runway when she walked at the Marc Jacobs show in 2014 in a nipple-baring bodysuit.

Ever since then, it’s been a good life.
