Jamie Lynn Spears announces ‘Zoey 101’ reunion: ‘Are you ready?’

The rumors are true.

After two days of posting pictures of purple palm tree silhouettes and a polka dot background to her Instagram, Jamie Lynn Spears has confirmed her fans’ hopes: The hit early 2000s Nickelodeon teen drama series “Zoey 101” is having a reunion.

“We’re back! Are you ready?” Spears captioned a Sunday post confirming a reunion of the show, which ran from 2005 to 2008, and tagging former costars Sean Flynn, Erin Sanders, Matthew Underwood and Chris Massey, all of whom also posted the news to their Instagram and Twitter accounts. Victoria Justice and Kristin Herrera, who respectively played Lola Martinez and Dana Cruz on the Malibu, CA-set boarding school series, are notably not tagged.

Spears, 29, also posted a longer clip captioned “Surprise!!! FINALLY! THE LEGACY CONTINUES: the Follow Me (Zoey 101) See It First Experience- 10/25 link in bio for tickets!” The video features throwback footage from the original series, Spears asking “Are you ready?” and a supercut of cast members.

A website for the confusingly and long-windedly titled “experience” is selling $20 tickets which include “admission” and a “single digital download,” as well as bundle packs including both the admission ticket and merchandise ranging from autographed CDs to “VIP Zoom” access. The digital event, whatever exactly it is, is set to take place on Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. PDT. “Welcome to Campus. Come join us!!!” the site teases.

The oddly worded announcement has left fans assured of a reunion but unclear if there will also be a reboot of the show, which ended after its fourth season when Spears, then 16 years old, got pregnant.

The actors have been teasing a reboot of the dramedy, set at the fictional Pacific Coast Academy, since last year, when much of the cast met up for a reunion dinner in Los Angeles.

Since posting the reveal, Spears has been hyping the “experience” in her Instagram Stories, requesting fans’ help in getting #followmezoey101 trending.

Why an ‘active’ approach to risk modelling is key to navigating markets today

Published

Whether investors are aiming for a cautious approach or a riskier investment profile with the potential for higher returns, Architas’ Blended Fund range is designed to match a range of investor risk appetites. And like many asset managers, Architas predominantly uses two approaches to define asset allocation within the five risk bands used in the Blended Range – strategic and tactical.

Whilst risk model provider EValue’s quantitative approach to asset allocation takes into account the long-term performance of different asset classes and the likely future performance given current valuations, along with long-term measures of volatility and correlations with other asset classes. Yet as with most systems of its kinds, EValue focuses on the long term; it is unable to analyse short-term market movements and fluctuations. So whilst it would have seen that in Q1 2020 markets fell by a record percentage before rebounding, it will not be able to factor in the cost of the coronavirus and lockdown and its impact on markets. Similarly, it is not able to consider ongoing Brexit woes, geo-political trade wars or the outcome of the US election in 2020.
